Combined with downstream EQs, they're usually meant to make an electric guitar sound like an acoustic one. A question I keep getting asked about this: "Can your profiles make my electric guitar sound like a Taylor, Martin, or Takamine?" No, they can't. Every profile offered here is precisely tailored to the interplay of guitar body, the woods used, and the specific pickup. This fixed foundation is then expanded with the character of a microphone and merged into a single profile through an elaborate process.
